COMMON COLDS

The common cold is an upper respiratory infection often starting with a scratchy or sore throat, followed by sneezing, a runny nose, a cough, and a general feeling of illness.

 Intention: The Common Colds Patch restores and supports the body’s actions against respiratory infections including Rhinovirus, Coronavirus, influenza, pneumonia and also protects against secondary bacterial infections

Sometimes it is difficult to know whether a person has a bacterial, or a viral infection.  Viruses and bacteria can cause similar symptoms but many illnesses—like pneumonia, meningitis and chronic diarrhea can be caused by either a virus or a bacteria

A cold can weaken your immune system and damage the tissue, making it easier for bacteria to grow.  While developing this program, we looked at most common bacteria – staph infection, strep, e-coli, salmonella, and pneumonia. I advise my clients to always keep a packet of this Patch in their home as it can be used as a preventative.  If you are around people sniffling and sneezing wear one patch, usually three days is sufficient, I put one on the minute I get an itchy throat and it never develops into a cold! Colds may exacerbate asthma and chronic bronchitis.
